Today's recipe is a special one:

I was given a tantalizingly juicy job opportunity (that I'll dish more on a bit later), and was tasked with preparing one. perfect. dish for it, as an interview of sorts. It didn't take much simmering to select my champion of desserts: the humble, yet ballsy--Tiramisu.

I thought too long about what the first post should be about--my favorite pastry? My core food memory? (Spicy, but still vague and properly anonymized) Tales of Gourmet Kitchen Goss?

The first post is pretty monumentous, and sets the tone for the whole ordeal going forward. So obviously I spent way too long stewing over this without writing anything at all.
