Today's recipe is a special one:

I was given a tantalizingly juicy job opportunity (that I'll dish more on a bit later), and was tasked with preparing one. perfect. dish for it, as an interview of sorts. It didn't take much simmering to select my champion of desserts: the humble, yet ballsy--Tiramisu.

Tiramisu. has. EVERYTHING. Espresso AND booze? Chocolate AND cheese?? A quick glance at the full flavor spread and you might conclude the inventor was simply insane. Perhaps,


Tiramisu is deceptively simple to prepare, but I wanted to turn things up a notch for this interview. (I seem to be unable to do any things simply. Relevant to my choice to pursue a career in gourmet dessertcraft...? no time to introspect further on this atm.)
